Meghan Markle is trying to separate herself from Netflix, notes expert.
Journalist Kinsey Schofield spoke to Daily Star about the Duchess of Sussex interview with Variety and revealed that Meghan wants to tell haters she has no decision making power on her upcoming reality show.
Ms Schofield began: "She has previously described the Netflix documentary as a 'historical' piece in The Cut.
"She really doesn't want it to be considered a reality show. But you do get the sense that Meghan Markle is distancing herself from the final product.
"The Duchess wanted to make sure that the audience knew that she did not have the final say and at the end of the day, someone else was in charge."
Meghan was earlier branded "controlling" about her content on Netflix and Spotify.
She said: "I thought that was incredibly interesting and encourages those rumours of how controlling she can be about 'her truth' and 'their narrative.'"
