Cases filed against illegal slaughtering

LAHORE: The city administration during its drive against illegal slaughtering in the city, conducted 142 raids and registered 23 cases against butchers in different police stations on Monday.

Special teams also imposed fine of Rs. 17,500 to butchers for illegal slaughtering while 680 kg unhygienic meat was also discarded.

DCO Lahore Noor-ul-Amin Mengal said that action would continue against illegal slaughtering in the city.
