I don't have British nationality, says Malik

LONDON: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has reiterated his claim that he does not have British nationality.

Addressing a ceremony at UK Pakistan Chamber of Commerce here, he said although he is not a British national, he would take all possible steps to facilitate overseas Pakistanis. A special cell would be constituted for them, he added.

He said security and investment are inter-linked and enemies of Pakistan are providing weapons to Taliban.

Earlier, Rehman Malik met her British counterpart Theresa May to discuss matters of mutual interest including elimination of terrorism, human trafficking, eradication of narcotics, visa issues of overseas Pakistanis, border management, improving performance of Pakistani police and imparting training to them.
