ISLAMABAD: Minister for Petroleum, Dr. Asim Hussain on Tuesday said a raise in the rate of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) was being included to the recommendations for Federal Budget 2012-13.
Talking to Geo News, the Federal Minister, however, added that it would not be a sharp rise rather it would be a gradual increase in the CNG Cess, and as a result the price of CNG would not witness a sudden boost.
"Even if a rate gets increased, it would not happen before July 1," Dr. Asim Hussain said.
It is pertinent to mention here that Federal Budget 2012-13 is all set to be presented before National Assembly on June 1.
