CM approves special grant for Dir Sports Festival

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Haidar Khan Hoti has approved special grant of Rs 1.540 million for Dir Sports Festival 2012.

The grant will be spent through a committee headed by the Commissioner Malakand Division so that entire events of the festival should take place in a transparent manner.

The festival will comprise Volley Ball, Karate, Para gliding Show, Radio controlled Aircraft Show, fishing and other competitions.

The festival is aimed at giving a message of peace to the international community, awareness against drugs and terrorism among people and motivating youth to healthy activities. (APP)
