Punjab Governor, CM exchange tidbits

LAHORE: Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif exchanged pleasantries and resolved to continue political interaction during a meeting at the Governor's House on Friday.

Punjab Governor Latif Khosa felicitated Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on the creation of the first IT university in the province.

The meeting occurred on the sidelines of the oath-taking ceremony of Justice Umer Ata Bandial as chief justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC).

Those present during the meeting were Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan, CJ LHC Justice Umer Ata Bandial, Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Senators Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa, Pervaiz Rasheed, and PLF leader Khurram Latif Khosa. (APP)
