ISLAMABAD: A nurse sustained bullet injuries and was shifted to emergency ward after unknown gunman opened fire at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Geo News reported.

The PIMS spokesman said the 22-year-old nurse is a third year student in Nursing Department. She was on her way to hostel when unidentified man resorted to firing, as a result she received bullet wounds in her abdomen.

According to police, the incident seems to be result of any personal enmity.
