Firemen struggling against big blaze at Karachi building

KARACHI: A fire that broke out at the eighth floor of a high-rise building located on Share Faisal in Karachi is spreading fast as firefighters arrived late at the scene, Geo News reported.

Reportedly, the fire brigade crew was called to the scene on reports of blaze at the building that largely houses office floors.

By the time the fire department arrived at the site --after more than one and a half hours-- they found the flames, which had been raging at the eighth floor of the office block, were now starting to threaten other storeys as well.

Firemen, assisted by a lone fire tender were busy struggling against the blaze with some success by the time of the filing of this report.
