MPA perturbed on water theft in PP-290

KHANPUR: Member Punjab Assembly from PP-290 (tehsil Khanpur) Ejaz Shafi has criticised water theft in this area and demanded immediate action against all those involved.

Talking to reporters here,he regretted that from Channi Goth to Bangla Headqasim wala about 100 illegal water connections were made with the connivance of local irrigation staff and farmers at tail ends were suffering.

He said that despite the orders of Chief Minister Punjab no action has been taken so far.
