ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police on Saturday arrested 12 persons including two women and recovered 10 wine bottles, 3 pistols, hashish and stolen items from their possession, police said.
According to details, Secretariat police arrested a bootlegger identified as Usman Ali and recovered ten wine bottles from him.
Bhara Kau police arrested a drug pusher identified as Muhammad Khan and recovered 210 gram hashish from him.
Golra police apprehended two thieves Yasir, Shafiqe and recovered stolen items worth thousands of rupees from their possession.
CIA Police arrested Saeed Khan, Ali and Imran besides recovering three pistols and 13 rounds from their possession.
Shehzad town police arrested five persons identified as Waseem Aleem, Irfan, Basharat, Siddiiqa and Imtiaz for their alleged involvement in immoral activities.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed persons and further investigation is underway.
SSP Islamabad Muhammad Yousuf Malik has further directed all police officials for effective vigilance and patrolling against anti-social elements.
