COAS directs Pak Army for immediate relief to flood victims

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has given directions to Pakistan Army for prompt and all out relief activities in flood affected areas.

He said immediate relief should be provided to affected people in Chitral and other flood hit areas of the country.

The Army Chief directed concerned Corps Commanders to keep constant vigil on flood situation in their respective areas.

He asked them to be ready to cope with any situation.
