GALLE: Rain has halted play midway through the post-lunch session on the second day of the first cricket Test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in Galle on Saturday.
Sri Lanka were 411 for five in their first innings at the interruption, with Kumar Sangakkara unbeaten on 154 and Prasanna Jayawardene on 45. The pair has so far put on 76 for the sixth wicket after a five-wicket haul from Saeed Ajmal had restricted Sri Lanka to 335 for five in the morning session.
