Following their victory in the 21st match of the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Islamabad United moved from the third to the second spot on the points table, becoming the second team to qualify for the playoffs after Lahore Qalandars.

Meanwhile, Quetta Gladiators remain in the sixth spot after United trumped the Gladiators by two wickets at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi on Sunday.

The winner will not only lift the Supernova Trophy but will also collect a cheque of Rs120 million, while the runners-up will receive a cheque of Rs48 million.
