Sindh CNG stations shut for 24 hours

KARACHI: All the CNG filling stations in Sindh were closed from 9:00am on Thursday to 9.00am on Friday, Geo News reported.

A Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) official said on Wednesday that due to a sudden breakdown at the Bhit gas field, the SSGC was facing an acute gas shortage and resultantly the gas supply to the CNG filling stations was being curtailed.

“The CNG stations in the province will not be providing compressed natural gas to the motorists for 24 hours from Thursday morning to Friday morning,” he added.

The scheduled weekly closure of CNG stations from Saturday morning to Sunday morning would also remain unchanged, he said.
