Eight injured as gunman opens fire in French disco

LILLE:Eight people were injured early Sunday when an armed man opened fire at a nightclub in northern France after being refused entry, emergency services said.

A source close to the police enquiry launched said that five of those hurt had suffered only minor injuries during the gunfire near the town of Cambrai.
