QUETTA: Power supply in Quetta's 16 districts has finally been restored after nearly 36 hours, Geo News reported.

The breakdown was caused by a technical fault that struck Guddu Power Station on Wednesday evening.

A day earlier, Quetta and at least 20 of its districts remained plunged into darkness for more than 12 hours owing to the same fault.

The power supply in Balochistan’s capital was restored after 12 hours on Thursday morning.

The fault had affected around 20 different districts of the city.

Power supply was resumed in some districts but most of the districts remained powerless until Friday morning.
