Khanewal: Samples taken from stoning victim

KHANEWAL: The grave of a woman who was stoned to death was exhumed and samples were taken from her body after the Supreme Court took notice of the incident.

The woman a mother of five was killed when she was beaten by bricks. The Supreme Court directed IGP Punjab to launch an investigation, following which the body of the woman was exhumed and samples were taken.

The investigation team returned to Lahore after collecting the samples.
