ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested nine outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered 3.105 kilogram hashish, stolen car and excavator worth Rs. 4.6 million from their possession, a police spokesman said on Friday.

According to details, a police team of Sihala police station arrested a drug pusher Nazeer Ahmed during routine patrolling and recovered three kilogram hashish from him.

Sihala police arrested three thieves Habib Khan, Rashid Mehmud, Abdul Aziz while Waqas Ahmed resident of Rawalpindi was arrested for his alleged involvement in a murder case.

Station House Officer of Bhara Kahu police station impounded an excavator machine and found it tempered after getting verification from concerned laboratory. It was found stolen and case no. 431/12 had been also registered at City police station in Toba Tek Singh regarding its theft.

Industrial police station arrested a drug pusher Adeel and recovered 105 gram hashish from him.

Kohsar police arrested a car thief Shafique who was demanding Rs. 500,000 from the owner of car Saleem Ullah to return his stolen car (NV-734).

Ramana police also nabbed two thieves Ayaz and Yousuf. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway. (APP)
