226 liters illicit liquor recovered, 6 accused arrested

KARACHI: Excise department teams raided in different parts of the city and arrested six accused recovering 226 liters illicit liquor and 30 plastic bottles of liquor from their possession.

The raids were conducted in Godhra, Al-Falah Masjid area Chenasar Ghoth, Parsi gate Mehmodabad, Mangophir Road, Esa Nagri and F.C. area and recovered 120 liters Liquor from accused Adnan, 234 bottles from Raheel, 30 plastic bottles of liquor from Muhammad Fayaz, 30 liters liquor from Muhammad Vakas, 32 bottles liquor from Qasim Habib and 20 bottles from Muhammad Nouman.

Cases have been lodged against accused and investigations are in progress. (PPI)
