ISLAMABAD: The Anti Narcotics Forcs (ANF) has filed a petition in the Supreme Court for placing 14 accused in the Ephedrine case on the Exit Control List (ECL).

The petition was submitted by the investigation officer in the case Brigadier Fahim. The petition requests that Ali Musa Gilani, Makhdoom Shahbuddin, Rasheed Juma, Khushnood Lashari and others be placed on the ECL.

It is also stated in the petition that the ANF had requested the Interior Ministry to place the accused in the case on the ECL six months ago.

During Monday’s proceedings of the case, the Supreme Court sought a written complaint from the ANF over the failure of the Interior Ministry to place known personalities under investigation in the Ephedrine quota scandal on the ECL.
