NEW DELHI: India on Friday selected cancer survivor Yuvraj Singh for the World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka, four months after he was treated for a rare tumour between his lungs.

The 30-year-old left-hander, one of the most flamboyant batsmen in world cricket, was named in a 15-man squad for the tournament to be played from September 18 to October 7.
