DIG suspends six police officials

LAHORE: DIG Operation Muhammad Tahir Rai on Sunday suspended six police officials on the charges of negligence and careless.

DIG visited different mosques and other religious places of the city to check security during Namaz-e-Fajr and Taraveeh.

Those police officials were suspended are: ASI Muhammad Rafique, Inspector Nasir Majeed, SI inspector Muhammad Imran, constables- Muhammad Nadeem, Tanvir Ahmad and Qasim Ali.

DIG appreciated the performance of SI Muhammad Idrees and HC Muhammad Noman and announced cash awards of Rs 3000 each, and Rs 2000 for constable Adnan.
