35 militants killed, 2 soldiers martyred in Orakzai clashes

KALAYA: At least 35 militants were killed while two soldiers were martyred when Pakistani forces and a group of militants clashed in Upper Orakzai Agency on Tuesday.

The skirmish, which took place in the Talanay area of the Orakzai Agency, began when militants ambushed a military patrol.

Officials said 16 soldiers were wounded in the ambush.
