Bomb hoax: BDS scans Karachi zoo

KARACHI: Karachi zoological Garden (Karachi zoo) was evacuated on a report of presence of a suspicious bag but the Bomb Disposal Squad cleared the public park after running the procedural scan.

According to police, the Karachi zoo was evacuated upon getting a report of presence of a suspicious bag in the park while BDS was called in to clear the area.

SP City, Sarfaraz Nawaz said that no suspicious bag was found during the search of the park.

It may be noted that a large number of people is visiting the Zoo on the second of Eid-ul-Fitr.
