PU launches anti-dengue campaign

LAHORE: Punjab University has launched anti-dengue campaign through the spray of insecticides across Punjab University in the aftermath of the Monsoon rains here Thursday.

Reading literature is also being distributed among PU inhabitants and students to create awareness about dengue fever and to ensure cleanliness in the varsity premises.

Five to 10 member teams have been deputed to carry out insecticide spray in different parts of both Campuses including hostels on daily basis.

PU Dengue Control Team will visit various sites in the New Campus area especially hostels to detect breeding sites of dengue mosquitoes and collect Larvae on 24th of August at 9:00am. (APP)
