Seven dead, 48 hurt in refinery explosion in Venezuela

CARACAS: At least seven people were killed and 48 others were injured in Venezuela early Saturday after an explosion at an oil refinery, a top local official announced.

Falcon State Governor Stella Lugo was quoted by the state-run agency AVN as saying the explosion had occurred at the refining facility located in the town of Amuay.
