Karachi: Pole mounted transformer comes crashing on car

KARACHI: A Pole Mounted Transformer (PMT) along with both of its poles came down crashing on a car parked under here on MA Jinnah Road, however no casualties were reported, Geo News reported.

Reportedly, the poles on which the PMT was mounted were too rusty to hold it any longer and the recent rains proved to be the straw that broke the camel’s back.

Fortunately, by the time the mishap came to pass, there were no passengers in the car that was damaged almost beyond repair.
