11 killed, 11 injured in Peshawar blast

PESHAWAR: A blast occurred in Matni Market located in Peshawar, killing at least eleven people and injuring eleven others on Friday, police said.

According to the police, the explosion took place near a double cabin vehicle parked outside the market.

Rescue and police teams reached the spot and the injured were shifted to local hospitals.

The police added that 30 to 40 kilograms of explosives were used in the bomb while mortars were also discovered from the site of the blast.
