BANGALORE: India, needing 261 runs to win, were 147-2 in their second innings when rain stopped play in the afternoon session on the penultimate day of the second and final Test against New Zealand on Monday.
Cheteshwar Pujara was unbeaten on 41 and Sachin Tendulkar on 23 not out. India now need 114 more runs with eight wickets in hand.
