KWSB close all hydrants in Karachi

KARACHI: Karachi Water and Sewerage Board has closed all hydrants in the city till further review.

According to KWSB spokesperson, the hydrants have been closed so that water can be provided to the citizens through water lines only and water theft can be controlled.

The spokesperson also said that legal hydrants of the Water Board are also being closed and after a court order the SHO of the area will be held responsible for the operation of any illegal hydrants in his jurisdiction.
