The music stalwart Dua Lipa celebrated her mom’s birthday on June 29 by sharing some throwback pictures of herself as a kid along with her mom as a tribute to her mom.
The 27-year-old singer shared an Instagram post captioning it as, “Happy Birthday Mama!!! My protector!!! The most glamorous woman I know, I love you” and tagged her mom in the post.
The pictures shared by Dua Lipa show herself as a kid held by her mother.
The mother is seen lovingly looking at her daughter with a large bouquet of colorful flowers present in the background.
In another photo, Dua Lipa can be seen making an adorable face and sticking her tongue out while her mother held her looking towards the camera.
A day earlier, her mother also shared a post, the most recent one with her grown-up daughters, captioning it as “Me and My girls.”
Dua Lipa was born in 1995 in Kasovo. Her parents migrated to London, and sought refuge after the start of the Bosnian war whereas her grandparents stayed behind.
Her parents went back for a job opportunity in Kasovo when Dua was 11, reports People.
Dua is extremely close with her parents, and frequently posts with them on social media.
