DUBAI: Pakistan captain Mohammad Hafeez won the toss and put Australia into bat in the first Twenty20 international at Dubai Stadium here on Wednesday.

Pakistan handed an international debut to left-arm spinner Raza Hasan who has been in good form in domestic Twenty20 events.

Australia left out left-arm paceman Mitchell Starc, who was player of the series in Australia's 2-1 win in the one-day series.
