DUBAI: Pakistani bowlers dismissed Australia for a mere 89 runs in 19.3 overs in the first of the three Twenty20 Internationals here at the Dubai Stadium on Wednesday.

Australia were all out for their second lowest total in Twenty20 International cricket after Pakistan captain Mohammad Hafeez won the toss and put Australia into bat.

Australia's previous lowest was 79 which they made against England at Southampton in 2005.

No Australian batsman could get into the double figures except three players --- Opener David Warner (22), middle-order batsman Cameron White (15) and captain George Bailey (14).

Left-arm pacer Sohail Tanvir was the most successful bowler for Pakistan with three for 13 while off-spinners Saeed Ajmal and Hafeez, and left-arm spinner Raza Hasan claimed two wickets each. Umar Gul took one wicket.

Pakistan handed an international debut to left-arm spinner Raza Hasan who has been in good form in domestic Twenty20 events.

Australia left out left-arm paceman Mitchell Starc, who was player of the series in Australia's 2-1 win in the one-day series.
