Roof collapse claims three lives in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Three people lost their lives while a man sustained injuries when the roof of a house collapsed due to the heavy rainfall here on Thursday.

The heavy spells of downpour continued in Peshawar since last night, inundating low lying areas of the city, while a roof of the house collapsed in Gulberg area, killing three people.

According to the hospital sources, the deceased included a woman and two kids.

The rains has also affected various areas of the city including University Road, Kohati, Lahore Gate.
