ISLAMABAD: According to sources, the government has approved a reduction in petrol price by Rs4.65 per litre, whereas the prices of other petroleum products have been revised upwards, Geo News reported.
Sources in the Ministry of Petroleum said, the new prices are likely to take effect form September 10 by 12:00 AM.
A notification in this regard would set the new price of petrol down at Rs99.90 from Rs104.55.
With an increase of Rs3.39/litre diesel’s new retail price would be Rs115.52.
Kerosene oil would be sold for Rs104.6/litre after a hike of Rs1.85.
The new price of High Octane Blending Component(HOBC) would be Rs136.46 after a hike of Rs3.27/litre.
