14 killed in Parachinar blast

PARACHINAR: At least fourteen people were killed and over sixty others injured in a blast at Kashmir Chowk in Parachinar area Monday, Geo News reported.

Political agent Shahab Ali Shah said the suicide attacker was travelling in a car which exploded in the market.

At least 30 shops were destroyed due to the explosion, while over 200 were damaged. The injured and deceased were shifted to the agency headquarters hospital, were fifteen are in critical condition.

According to the political administration, the chassis number of the vehicle used in the explosion had been erased.

Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has condemned the blast and directed concerned authorities to provide the best medical treatment to the injured.
