PESHAWAR: The PESCO detection and recovery teams have recovered Rs. 6.5 million from defaulters during last one-week crackdown.

The team constituted on the directions of CEO Pesco are successfully achieving their targets and the crackdown are in full swing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to Pesco press release the detection and recovery teams have recovered Rs.11, 51633 in Peshawar Circle, Rs.46, 39,266 in Khyber Circle, Rs.4, 70796 in Mardan Circle, Rs.1, 40,949 in Swat Circle while Rs.60000 in Bannu Circle.

The Pesco has already published the defaulters list in newspaper. All the Pesco defaulters are directed to deposit their dues as soon as possible otherwise their name will also be published in the newspapers. Similarly drive for Pesco recovery will remain in progress, so they must deposit the dues to avoid the disconnection of their electricity supply, and publication of their names in Media.

Similarly drive against illegal use of electricity and direct hooks will continue and warned electricity stealers to stop power pilferage in the larger interest of the nation.
