KARACHI: Leaders of Sindhi nationalist parties, Awami Tehreek and JSQM, have refused to withdraw strike call and vowed to observe it at all cost, Geo News reported.

Secretary General Awami Tehreek, Anwar Somroo said they would observe strike against the promulgation of SPLGO at all cost. He appealed the traders and transporters to shut their business today (Thursday).

JSQM leader Ilahi Bux Bubak said Sindh Bacahyu Committee would observe strike today, adding they would also observe day of mourning over Karachi tragedy.

He said some people are trying to create misunderstanding about the strike.

Meanwhile, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has announced to withdrawn strike call.
