KARACHI: Three DNA camps have been setup to collect samples from the families of the victims of the tragic Baldia Town garment factory fire.

The samples will be used to identify the victims and the camps have been set up at Jinnah Hospital, Abbasi and Civil Hospital.

According to provincial health minister Sagheer Ahmed, 15 samples had been received at Jinnah while 17 had been received at Abbasi Hospital.

Several victims of the Karachi fire have not been identified as they were unfortunately burnt beyond recognition.

The fire which broke out in the garment factory on Tuesday claimed over 250 lives and is the biggest industrial disaster in the history of Pakistan.
