63 arrested given in police remand

KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court has given in police remand 63 persons, who were taken into police custody during Friday's riots in the provincial capital, for further interrogation.

The above men were held for their alleged participation in the acts of violence and rioting during the protest demonstrations against the blasphemous film in the jurisdiction of various police stations of the metropolis yesterday.

They were presented before the judge of anti-terrorism court number-1, Shabbir Ahmed Khoso.
