ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police on Tuesday arrested five outlaws and four suspects from various areas of the city and recovered wine, stolen items, car and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said.
According to details, Secretariat police station nabbed an accused Zubair Ali for having 30 bore pistol. Bhara Kau police apprehended Zahid Mehmud in possession of four wine bottles.
Anti-car lifting cell arrested Amad ur Rehman and recovered tempered Toyota Corolla car (LXZ-0291) from him. Sihala police arrested two thieves Dildar Hussain and Sarfaraz Hussain and recovered stolen valuables worth Rs 80,000 from him.
Meanwhile, Sabzi Manid and Industrial area police stations conducted search operation in their respective areas and nabbed four suspects.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.(APP)
