Nakoula Basseley a.k.a Sam Bacile jailed

LOS ANGELES : The 55-year-old film-maker who sparked violent protests across the Muslim world over his anti-Islam film Innocence of Muslims, has been sent to jail for violating his parole.

Nakoula, who used the moniker Sam Bacile in the anti-Islam film’s production notes, appeared before a Los Angeles federal court on Thursday. Judge Segal, remarked that he posed “danger to the community” and had a “lengthy pattern of deception” which included lying to parole officers.
