Biscuit factory gutted

LAHORE: Raw material and other valuables worth thousands of rupees were burnt when fire broke out in a biscuit factory at Thokar Niaz Baig on Sunday.

A worker was also injured in the fire and he was rushed to the Jinnah Hospital for treatment, said Rescue 1122 spokesman.

On receiving information, rescue 1122 fire service rushed to the spot and controlled the ablaze after hectic efforts.

Cause behind the fire could not be ascertained immediately. (APP)
