Another bank looted in Karachi

KARACHI: Robbers escaped with loot after depriving a private bank of hundreds of thousands in Baldia Town here on Tuesday, Geo New reported.

The armed robbers also injured a policeman while executing the heist by holding the bank staff hostage at gunpoint. However, a decoit also sustained wounds when the policeman opened fire in a bid to resist the robbery.

No CCTV footage of the incident was recorded, as the camera outside the bank was broken and one on the inside was out of order.
