Two killed in Karachi firing incidents

KARACHI: Two people were gunned down in separate incidents of firing in Karachi on Wednesday morning.

According to rescue source, a man was gunned down when unidentified armed men opened fire on him near Azeem Pura Graveyard in Shah Faisal Town. He was identified as Akbar son of Ghulam, said to be around 40-year-old. The deceased was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for medico-legal formalities.

Meanwhile, a bullet-riddled body was found near Kanab Point, Hawks bay, said the rescue source.

The body bore torture marks with hands and legs trussed-up.

The victim was shifted to Civil Hospital for postmortem.
