PESHAWAR: The nation continues to pray for the recovery of Malala Yousafzai, the 14 year old student shot by the Taliban in Swat.

Prayers were held in Churches and other areas across Peshawar. Residents of the city prayed for the speedy recovery of Malala Yousafzai.

In Lahore, women and children lit candles in the Cathedral Church and expressed solidarity with Malala. While speaking to Geo News, children hoped that Malala’s health would improve and she would continue with her mission for an education.

A protest was held in Karachi by members of the civil society. The protest and walk which was held at ‘Do Talwar’ was attended by doctors, teachers and other professionals. A large number of women and children were also in attendance.

Protestors were of the view that the attack on Malala was an attack on every daughter of the nation.
