Punjab prisoners to be provided phone facilities

LAHORE: Prisoners in Punjab will be provided facilities to telephone their relatives.

This was announced by Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif via a social media website.

The facility will be provided in 32 prisons across the province. Convicted prisoners and those awaiting trial will be able to make free landline phone calls to their relatives.
