17 outlaws arrested

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested 17 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered 2.215 kilogram hashish, 62 wine bottles, heroin, a telescope and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Thursday.

According to details, Bhara Kau police arrested Danish, Haroon, Khuram Shehzad and recovered 60 wine bottles and 215 gram hashish from them. Tarnol police arrested Aslam, Ramzan and Nur Bibi besides recovering a total of 1.110 kilogram hashish, one telescope gun and 30 bore pistol from them.

Sabzi Mandi police arrested Sohaib Ali in possession of 30 bore pistol while Shehzad town police arrested a drug pusher Abdul Waheed for having 1.020 kilogram hashish and 70 gram heroin.

Sihala police arrested Javed for possessing30 bore pistol while Loi Bher police arrested three thieves Amjad, Saad and Wali Muhammad besides recovering stolen valuables from them.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway.(APP)
