PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has disconnected electricity of consumers in Shabqadar and Douaba divisions due to non-payment of outstanding amount.
As per PESCO press release here Thursday, the action has been taken by Recovery and Detection Teams (RDT) on the directives of the Chief Executive.
Under the supervision of XEN Pesco Shabqadar Division, the RDT disconnected electricity of defaulters consumers in Shabqadar and Doaba sub-divisions' villages Garangi and Gharibabad villages of 11 KV Shabqadar fort for non-payment of Rs.1338581.
Similarly, the power supply of consumers in .Matta Leekyan Shafiq Mian Kandi, Matta Barokhel and Mama Khel of 11 KV Matta Mughal Khel feeder; Matta Arbapan, Matta Bayari and Malakabad, Kili Bela No.4 of 11 KV Muran Koroona has been disconnected for non payment of Rs.41975504.
The electricity of consumers in villages Aryana, Bakyana, Sarwani, Dheri Sikandar Khan, Doulat Pura,Jammat and Ghurambak villages of 11 kv Adizai feeder under Doaba sub-division was disconnected for non payment of Rs.14731754/.
The defaulters have been directed to deposit their dues so that power supply could be restored to them. (APP)
