Karachi: Excise Police seize 320kg hashish

KARACHI: Two different teams of Sindh Excise Police seized 320kg hashish during search of two trucks and arrested drivers of both vehicles at national highway near Ghoti and Kandiyaro last night.

According to an official handout issued Sunday, a team headed by Excise & Taxation Inspector Zulfiqar Ali Shaikh seized 120kg hashish from secret cavities of truck No;PKB351 near Marhaba Station national
highway in Ghotki district. Accused Nazar Muhammad, resident of Pasheen, Balochistan was arrested along with truck.

In another action, the excise team seized 200kg from truck with a license plate number TKC611 near Bhittai Petrol Pump Kandiyaro and arrested Dar Khan of Saryab road Quetta, Balochistan. Truck has been impounded and further investigation is underway. (PPI)
